Today’s wireless post is brought to you from the front step.

Even though we have a backyard it’s just lovely out here today. Nice shade from the trees, peace and quiet in the neighbourhood and it seems the freight trains are observing an ANZAC Day holiday too. Thomas is curled up in the sun, the grass isn’t quite long enough to need mowing (at least until the weekend) and we shouted ourselves the extravagance of breakfast out.

It’s such a shame that it’s back to the real world tomorrow.

I took a stroll this afternoon to meet Phee on her walk home from school. As is my want I was looking the houses along the way and being a gloriously sunny autumn day many had their bedroom blinds and windows thrown wide open.

I am happy to report that we are not alone in just chucking the doona back on the bed and hoping no one comes walking along looking in the window. And to those at #5; great bed set but not really practical with that black cat.

This is the life. Steak sandwich, wonderful latte’s and wireless for all. Yep, The Famous Blue Raincoat now offers wireless access so I may never have to work in an office again. If I can keep my latte bill less than my travel expenses to and fro I may never leave this couch.

And just to prove what a geek I am here’s a photo I just took with my phone, sent to Flickr and put in here. Just ’cause I can.

Once was cool, twice, well, that’s pretty amazing.

The first time was Veronica and Steve and as I don’t know just how public a knowledge it is I won’t say who the second couple are but they are pregnant too. Yep, I’ve found about a pregnancy while at at Tigers game at The MCG twice now. So congratulations to Couple Two, hope all goes well and this one joins their elder brother as a Tigers supporter.

Now I’ve put that on my page I’m eligible for a free Div X Pro licence, and if you put a link on your site you can get a free Div X Pro licence too. Mind you, this isn’t just a shameless grab for a freebie, I actually like Div X and one of the reasons we bought the new DVD player we did last year is that it could play Div X encoded video. It’s a lot more convenient, and quicker, to load heaps of Div X files on to a DVD to play them on the telly than to convert the same files in to DVDs.

And while I’m telling you all what to do - think about it and then sign up to be an organ donor.

It really was a nightmare on Friday the 13th.

Sitting at work in the morning I get an email from Rob, ‘So, should we go the game tonight?’. What on earth possessed me to say yes?

As we both cut back our memberships to home games only this year I had the experience of having to queue and buy a ticket for the first time. We managed to get seats on the ground level and settled in, along with 70,567 of our friends (including Jen), to watch the game.

Well, I watched it for the first half. The second half I sat with my head in my hands waiting for the nightmare to end. But it didn’t. Three games in to season 2007 and I’ve all but given up hope now. You’ve had three years Mr Wallace if you, the coach, don’t know what’s wrong we’re really in trouble.
