Cats

The names of the cats I/my family/my family have had (at least the ones who stayed around long enough for me to remember).

Sam
Fergie
Jingles
Ceefor
George
Thomas
Oscar
Belter

Sirens

Sirens everywhere, and no, not because we finally snapped and decided to wipe out our neighbours. There’s a big abandoned factory on fire a block away. Assuming no one famous dies overnight it should be on the news in the morning.

Vale #17

I never got to see him play but every Tiger knows #17, the most sacred number in Tiger histroy.

His impact on our club is best summed up by Tom Hafey, “I?m quite certain that if you cut him in half, he would bleed black and yellow.”

Car

You will notice I have not mentioned my new car.

That’s because there is no new car.

It is hard to type when your hands keep on pounding imaginary figures of leasing organisers.

More to come.

For The Love Of The Game

People are generally surprised when they learn I follow the hockey, even more so when they realise just how much I love it and my team.

Sure, I saw a Canuck game and I thought it was magnificent but it was the broadcasts of John Shorthouse and Tom Larshied on CKNW that really got me hooked. Check out some of their highlights in the Shorty & Tom Gallery and you’ll see why I try and listen to every game over the net.

Roll on October and GO NUCKS!

Career Advice

Dear Mr Mad Busker Man Outside the Commonwealth Bank in Malvern,

yelling ‘give us money ya shits’ will not increase the number of 5 cent pieces in your tatty cap. Actually learning to play your guitar may.

Yours in bewilderment,

Anthony Malloy

Late Entry

While New Order’s Technique holds the lead there’s a late addition to ‘first CD to play in Tony’s car’ stakes.

Any comments for ‘Pulp – Different Class’ will be taken in to consideration.
