I know. It’s been quiet around here the past few days but I’ve been busy, go see www.vicsharpies.com if you want to know what I’ve been up to. It’s not the site I would have given them had I designed it but it’s the site they wanted. Ah well, they’re happy even if I’m not.

Now before I get stuck in to another site it’s time for a little Halo action.

I swear it’s the easiest money I have ever made. Gmail, Google‘s wonderful web mail, just gave me some invitations to send to other people.

Being the entreprenerd that I am I put one on Ebay with a ‘Sell Now’ price of AUD $25. It was snapped up and paid for in 15 minutes and he took another invite, my last, as well. Now there are two happy people in India and one happy person in Melbourne.

I didn’t have a birthday this year, I had a birthfestival. It started Wednesday night and is only just winding down now. Yesterday was the big day though and any day you spend with your love going to the movies at The Sun, lunch from Sumos in Yarraville, visiting the National Gallery of Victoria, the Arts Centre, strolling along St Kilda Rd in the crisp winter air, eating out at the lovely The River at Southgate, a tram ride back to Eden On The Park to spend the night followed by a walk into South Melbourne for breakfast this morning has to be classed as wonderful. Thanks Rae for spoiling me rotten.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, ’twas a great day and now that I’m old I think I might stop at this age.

We got Deb and now we’ve officially placed the order.

We’ve been sitting here waiting for about 5 minutes now to hear back if we’ve got the date we want. Damn it Deborah, why do you have a life and not live on your email like we do?

People would think there’s more to life than computers and the net….

(And no, that’s not the same sort of ‘we’ as Mr Wright, it’s the Rob and me sort of ‘we’.)

Thanks to Charles Wright suggesting I shoot Daniel instead of himself a producer from dig (The national broadcaster’s digital radio station) now wants to send a reviewer and/or photographer to the Deb Conway gig.

I’m sure CNN or the BBC can’t be far behind.

You know, until a mate pointed it out I had never noticed that columnist, radio presenter, recent arrival to blogging and computing guru Charles Wright referred to himself as ‘we’.

Now it’s driving me insane.

I don’t know whether I should shoot Mr Wright for doing it or shoot Daniel for bringing it to my attention. Either way, ‘we’ are not amused.

The New York times apparently described Google as ‘…a little like God in that it allows users ?to find anything, anywhere, anytime?.’.

Sounds more like The Goodies to me.
