Just when I thought I was out… they pull me back in.
Last October we cancelled our Foxtel, or more to the point put it on hold to make up our minds. 12 months of fees to watch footy in HD for a five of those months was just too expensive as we simply didn’t watch anything else they offered.
I rang this morning to finalise cancellation and was asked the reason. All I had to do was say we only wanted the footy and it was pretty poor value for us. Suddenly the golden doors opened. We’re now no contract, HD, and catch up enabled for a third less than we were paying last year – a price we agreed before hand would present good value for us. Looks like we’re back for at least another six months.
