Today Daniel sent me a link to a Dr Who pinball machine on Ebay. Of course I want it but for some reason he rejected my offer to go halves (with two hours to go it’s at $1,780).
It did remind me of my one true pinball love though. I found it at Silverball Mania in Shepparton, way back in the early 80s, and I spent a good deal of my allowance on it – the Meteor pinball machine. It remains the one pinball machine I became quite good at and if I could find one to play tomorrow I’d be there in a heartbeat. If they’d sell me it for a lot less than $1,780 I’d be in heaven.
