Thank you to all who emailed and contacted me over the past few days, your thoughts and words mean a lot to myself and my family.
We sent Dad off well. It was a good funeral, if you can have such a thing, and then a long afternoon and evening of happy tales and toasts to the man the whole family loved.
I know the sun will come up tomorrow, and the day after that; but I’m still sad my dad won’t be here to see it. I’m now even more determined to live my life in such a way to make him proud after hearing about how much he meant to so many people.
