We went for a walk this morning. Along the way we saw :
The Newport Substation. A long abandoned sub-station that will soon hopefully be turned into a gallery and work place for local artists. Of course, this day in age art needs to pay so there will be the ubiquitous ‘cafe and function areas’.
I’m not sure what’s going on here but on a path cutting by the local station someone had hung these clothes over a pipe.
I had to wonder how long this sign has been here. ‘Kleenamatic’ – surely it’s been around since the 50’s/60’s. You just don’t groovy words like this any more.
