Rae and I both had blog problems this morning – all our dates had been moved forward. Very very odd, my suspicion is that the mailing program was to blame so I’ve disabled it for the time being.
Very annoying, now we have to redo the dates.
Life between coffees.

An email has just been sent to all staff about the Tackling Bowel Cancer project. Mentions tonights footy show, mentions tomorrow nights game, mentions Eddie McGuire talking about it in his column on Saturday but no bloody mention of the web site!!! It really makes you wonder when the most permanent and information packed resource is not even talked about.
Rae has demanded I tell the world that she now has a blog – Rae’s Blog – and what a wonderful blog it shall be.
Going crazy today. I’ve added what I’m reading and what’s in the pile by the bed. Check out the books section.
I’ve set up a system where you can subscribe to get my blog delivered by mail. I know, I know, I’m too kind. If you want to get my blog delivered via mail once a day head on over the subscription page. The site that provides this nifty service seems to go down every now and then so if you get an error, just try again a bit later.
Well, it had to happen eventually. I lost a web site client as ‘someone in their organisation has a husband who works in IT’. I know all’s fair in love, war and business but it still hurts. Need to find another to replace them.
One of the doctors here saw my Tackling Bowel Cancer site. His reaction was ‘That’s f*#$ing fantastic’ and wants me to set up a site for one of his projects.
Had a meeting this morning. Not only did I get to use a business card (still a novelty) but the other guy had a palm (Vx, nowhere near as cool as my 505) so we beamed our contact info to each other. Apart from this fun, a waste of time.
Quick Review : Over rated.
Not So Quick Review : Attack of The Clones was better.
Village Jam Factory, Cinema 7 K11 8.00 PM
Mark and I toddled off to see Spider-Man last night. With his countdown to America looming this may be one of the last times for a while. Anyways, for a Monday night the cinema had a few people in it and Cinema 7 is one of the larger ones at the Jam Factory with great sound.
Movie was ho-hum. Sure Spidey looked cool, and Kirsten Dunst is drop dead gorgeous, and it was witty in places, and the villain was evil, and the effects were amazing but it was still lacking something. Maybe the word I’m looking for is ‘heart’. Overly ponderous in ramming home it’s moral ambiguity, repetitively preachy (just how many times do we need to be reminded that ‘with great power comes great responsibilty’?) and two obvious post 11th September re-writes reveals a little too much calculation for my liking.
Spidey is left angst ridden at the end but it’s a very Hollywood angst, we sympathise but don’t care – just show us him doing a loop the loop one more time.
On second thoughts, don’t.
Elvis, if you haven’t left the building, just have to say you made us smile. Whoever you are.
