I can now spell-check my posts easily from within Internet Explorer, god bless iespell.

Update

Update

Wow, it’s been a week – here’s what happened. Dad’s 80th was a blast, sprained (grade 2) my foot carrying a cardboard box, Rae looked after me and I spent three days at home. Now back at work. Update done.

Later that day.

Later that day.

Saw the 10.30 screening, turned around and went straight back into the 1.30 screening – now for the 9.00 screening tonight.

Oh Boy

Oh Boy

Here I am, 31 and I couldn’t sleep because I was too excited about seeing Star Wars this morning. Rae wants to go in now to get the tickets – 3 hours before the screening. Two peas in a pod.

And Builds

And Builds,

getting closer and closer. This is amazing, I feel like a kid again. I will have seen it at least once by this stage tomorrow. Funny I didn’t actually see Star Wars (the original) until after I saw Jedi. Thank god for video.

Excitement Builds

Excitement Builds

Drving to work today I passed under the huge billboard for ‘Attack Of The Clones‘. I can’t believe that this time tomorrow we’ll be driving to the cinema to watch it. Life is no better than when there is a new Star Wars movie – the sad thing is that there is only one more left to go after this.

Tuesday

Tuesday

Kitchen is done, boxes still ruling the roost. Probably Thursday, when we get some shelving, that things will get a move along. Balloons were out again this morning, makes the drive peaceful watching them. One was a huge Freddo Frog.

Keys

Keys

Okay, I’m not obsessed but this and this is the last time I will mention keys. The window key had been left in the kitchen window by the previous tenant.

That’s it. I’ll never talk of keys again.

Time To Blog At last.

Time To Blog

At last. What a busy weekend – we were both exhausted yesterday after the efforts of Saturday. Amazing how we moved both places with only the two of us. Rob cam over to help but by that stage we’d moved everything. Perhaps the most amazing thing was that we didn’t yell at each other once – not one cross word during the move. Moving is supposed to be the second most stressful event behind a death in the family so we think we came through okay.

About two thirds of the boxes have been done. We have a lack of book shelves that is holding up proceedings a little – they will be first on the list when we get some cash together. Followed a long way down the track by a couch.

My key wish is almost granted – just have the three front door keys on my chain. Most bizzare thing is that out of the 8 keys to the house we have not one opens the window locks. A beautiful weekend and the place, save for the front and back door, was all shut up. Angela the Absent Minded Agent is hunting a key up. With her on the case we have no worries – this time next year we should have the keys.
