It’s not much but I got my first Visa Gold card today. If only it was still the 80’s and it meant something.
Oh Wow
Curiouser & Curiouser
Rae and I both had blog problems this morning – all our dates had been moved forward. Very very odd, my suspicion is that the mailing program was to blame so I’ve disabled it for the time being.
Very annoying, now we have to redo the dates.
Work
An email has just been sent to all staff about the Tackling Bowel Cancer project. Mentions tonights footy show, mentions tomorrow nights game, mentions Eddie McGuire talking about it in his column on Saturday but no bloody mention of the web site!!! It really makes you wonder when the most permanent and information packed resource is not even talked about.
Rae’s Demand
Rae has demanded I tell the world that she now has a blog – Rae’s Blog – and what a wonderful blog it shall be.
Read All About It
Going crazy today. I’ve added what I’m reading and what’s in the pile by the bed. Check out the books section.
You Have Mail
I’ve set up a system where you can subscribe to get my blog delivered by mail. I know, I know, I’m too kind. If you want to get my blog delivered via mail once a day head on over the subscription page. The site that provides this nifty service seems to go down every now and then so if you get an error, just try again a bit later.
Ouch
Well, it had to happen eventually. I lost a web site client as ‘someone in their organisation has a husband who works in IT’. I know all’s fair in love, war and business but it still hurts. Need to find another to replace them.
And You Can Quote Me On That
One of the doctors here saw my Tackling Bowel Cancer site. His reaction was ‘That’s f*#$ing fantastic’ and wants me to set up a site for one of his projects.
Nerd Nirvana
Had a meeting this morning. Not only did I get to use a business card (still a novelty) but the other guy had a palm (Vx, nowhere near as cool as my 505) so we beamed our contact info to each other. Apart from this fun, a waste of time.
