That’s the sound a red Holden Commodore makes when it kisses a stationary Mitsubishi Lancer on Queens Rd, just near Kings Way, at 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon.
I was gazing out the window at the time and didn’t see him coming up from behind. There was no screech of brakes and it was only a gentle touch but sounded pretty impressive from inside the car. From the outside it looks as if nothing happened but the leasing company want it checked out regardless.
What a great start to the weekend.
Bugger. Regular route of mine and I see many cars kiss. Build up in Queens Road back from Westgate Bridge, quite likely in evening peak. Free flowing Queens Road often stops. Take care.
Damn! Coulda been a lot worse though.
I’ve driven that road every working day for the past five years Andrew, I had a funny feeling it was only a matter of time. No surprise though that it happened on a Friday – traffic on a Friday evening is just horrendous as everyone is in a hurry to start their weekend.
Lucky you’re ok! …and it wasn’t the family car!
