Okay – I’ve re-read this five times and I’m positive you’re asking about accents.
There are no regional accents at all – from Hobart to Cairnes and back to Perth we all speak the same. The closest you’d come would be different slang. ‘Bathers’ vs ‘swimmers’ for what you swim in, that sort of thing.
Just remembered – there was something I meant to ask: do you have different regional accents over there? And would be be able to tell the difference?
