I was looking at the Monash Uni site today to see how they responded to the tragedy (or here if The Age has expired) that unfolded there this morning. Over a decade ago I’d spent many hours wandering those halls avoiding tutorials and lectures. An old friend of mine still teaches there, in that very building. After Bali you have to wonder what’s next for our battered little country.

I clicked on other areas of the site and found that something is terribly wrong with one of their teachers. They only have 2,269.4 teaching staff. I wonder where they mispalced the other .6 of Professor Snootles.
