Hockey Joy
Oh joy, oh joy. Reading The Age this morning and I see that Foxtel (my cable television provider) is close to signing a deal with ESPN. Why so excited? Well it means that after two years of listening on the net I will at last be able to see my beloved Canucks live on television! It may only be a few games per season but it’s better than the diddly squat I have now.

A local fan was asked on radio this morning what made Ranaldo so good.

Carlton
In the light of ulgly incidents on the weekend where bottles were thrown at umpires after the game Carlton is looking at upgrading security at Optus Oval.
They should just upgrade their fans instead.
Footy Tipping
4! I got four in the split round. Not bad at all. Mind you I’ve tipped the Doggies and Tiges for next weekend so there goes my great record.
