Any body out there with experience and advice on how to fill in the day when you’ve been called up to jury duty in Melbourne?
Life between coffees.

*LOL* Lunch with me too. (Just down the street…) Otherwise, pack a few good books.
I’ve been called for Jury Service in Melbourne just last week. I brought with me a book and a sheet of sudoku puzzles. There are magazines and newspapars there for you to read. There’s also a pool table (that’s right, in the Jury Pool Room 😉 ). If you have a laptop, there is a phone connection where you can plugin to dial out of the building. They serve coffee, tea and juice there for free. But if you like fizzy drinks, you better bring your own. There are some bikkies there, too. Have fun. 🙂
Lunch with me!
When do you go?
No advice, but I do have a quote from the other day regarding Jury Duty.
When you go into court you are putting your fate into the hands of twelve people who weren’t smart enough to get out of jury duty. — Norm Crosby
Tony, I’m sure that doesn’t apply to you and I hope you get a laugh out of it.
They have a telly in there, but you probably can’t choose the channel. I spent my day there watching Perry Mason repeats!
Are you allowed to take a handheld PC, I wonder?
Otherwise, a good book.
