After spending a week camping on the edge of a flower bed my phone came home today. After I spent $35 on a new SIM card and had the hand set barred, but at least it’s home, dry and working.
Wow! What would you do without her??? Phone AND flask? 🙂
At least you didn’t drop your mobile in a puddle outside St Kilda’s Galleon restaurant early on Saturday morning.
After a whole day of stressing (not to mention calling about a zillion phone numbers before I could get the dialing out function cancelled) and dialling it all day trying to get somebody to answer, I eventually had a response late on Saturday night. She’d found it and kept it safe. So there ARE still honest and decent people in this world. (Thanks again Catarina at Cafe Zenith!)
Which was a huge relief, considering I’ve yet to pay off the previous phone which I “drowned” when I tried to answer it in the bath …. oops.
