Worry

Worry

This week I should start work on a web site entitled ‘Tackling Bowel Cancer’. The thing that worries me most is they are going to have a logo. The mind boggles…

Morning

Morning

I must be getting old, what with it being the last day of me being 31. Monday morning and I want to be back in bed – think I actually fell back to sleep as I drove in to work. The longer I sit here, the more my head gravitates toward the desk. Just thinking that this morning I didn’t want to get out of bed ’cause it was five degrees yet yesterday afternoon we were laying in the park under a clear blue sky in t-shirts. Melbourne winters, gotta love ’em.

It’s all bad news for Thomas. After he and Phee did their impersonation of an alarm clock this morning he has been officially banished to the laundry to sleep. He had his chance. Phee was quite funny this morning too. After Thomas was locked away and she had been growled at for turning lights on when we were sleeping all was quiet for a few seconds. Then the sound of her door opening and a great stage whisper ‘Thomas….Thomas’. More yelling to get back to bed, which, along with much muttering, she eventually did. Life’s tough when your six and they lock your cat away.

Oh the Humainty

Oh the Humainty

You;d think an afternoon in the sun, drinking beer and chatting with Rae and my best mate would be an ideal way to spend the first day of winter. HAH! Wrong. The damn Tiger’s. It was such a good game, yelled myself horse. The boys played it right out and the game was a lot closer than the final 19 point margin.

Had a wonderful night with Rae last night. We stayed at The Novotel and Rae took me for the most wonderful dinner at Cafe Superbo. It was so nice to wake up looking out over the bay. A spot of shopping in South Melbourne and then off to the footy.

Life, in short, is grand.
