Teasing
Is it wrong for me to want to kick the pants of the kid teasing my gal? If it is, then tell me how I make them stop. I know she only has about 6 weeks left at this school (and primary school full stop for that matter) but I don’t want them to be 6 miserable weeks. Anybody out there had to deal with a bully or three? Anything I can do, other than encourage her to ignore them?

Having been the victim of severe bullying most of the time throughout primary and highschool, I can say that if the teachers end up talking to the bullies, it’ll either get worse or it will stop. Same thing goes if you do, Tony does or the principal at the school.
Tell Phee to try not to pay them any mind, it really is the only thing that works. She must have a group of regular friends she hangs with, yes? If so, she can hang out with them a bit more. A group of people ignoring bullies is often more effective than anything and the bullies don’t like it when the odds aren’t in their favour. Unless it’s physical bullying, in which case I am all for pants kicking, ignoring is usually the best option.
She can’t get hurt with words, which is all that they are. :) Hot air from a bunch of silly tykes who are bored and are so lacking in imagination that they think that teasing others will be entertaining.
Having said that… if you want the scares put into the troublemakers, I can arrange it… I know several big hairy men with loud bikes…
