Starting Over

Hi.

It’s been a while.

But we’re back now with a little news.

We’re pregnant again.

But with a twist.

We went for our 12 week ultrasound this morning and recieved a little surprise.

We’re not having a baby. We’re having two.

Twin 1

Twin 2

Our heads are spinning a little at the moment. I’ll write more when I can concentrate.

  5. Kathy says:

Wow! Well done to you all, and all the best for the coming months … and years ahead as a family of SIX!

Wow, that’s awesome news! Good luck coping with twin babies! Get your resources lined up ahead of time, and basically beg/borrow anything you can. A friend who had twins got her twin stroller given to her by work. Always a huge expense for yourselves, but not much when people chip in, on stuff.

    Best wishes from Canada!

WOW!!! No wonder you’ve been so quiet!! Four kids!!! You are going to have to employ someone to blog for you. “Take a blog post maria”

  8. Kathy says:

Oh, I forgot to say - do you want our extra cot? We have Alia’s old cot out in the garage and I do not anticipate ever having two kids in cots at the same time again (well, future twins notwithstanding, I guess :-) Just give me a hoy if you want it, it’s in perfect order.

  9. Marika says:

    OMG! That’s so brilliant…congratulations!

    So…Kennedy and…?? Albert 2?

OMG! That’s amazing! I haven’t checked here for a while, and even as I clicked I was thinking…. Hmmmmm - I wonder if there might be a new Kennedy/Albert?! And there’s two! Totally exciting! I remember getting the text message that Albert had arrived as I drove down Kings Way at around 1am!

    congratulations! :-)

What, I go away for a while, and everybody’s getting delusions of grandeur? Seriously, congratulations, you guys!

  14. Steff says:

I was so scared of that possibility when i went for my ultrasound - quite a bit to get your head around.
Congrats - looks like our kidlets will be very close in age - but you get an extra one :D

When Cathy and I heard, we were shocked. Shocked and dismayed. But then again, depending on who you ask, the rate of twin births is between 1.25% and 5.8%. Looks like one of them is a boy. What does Phee think?

  16. carrie says:

Oh my goodness! Congratulations and good luck! At least you have a couple of little helpers at home already. ;)

  17. Ren says:

    I… oh hell… CONGRATULATIONS!!! Twice.

Twins. I just about fell off my chair.
