Stubborn?
Went for my walk. Didn’t take mobile, as the battery started beeping at me. Plugged it in to the wall to recharge and then took off. Got to the post office, checked mail, bought stamps for letters to post, dropped said letters into big red post box and came home again.
Stupidly told Tony that I didn’t take the phone. Get grumpy email telling me “never again”.
Tomorrow I’ve an appointment in the evening. I figure, rather than have two cars at the hospital, I may as well train across and have Tony stay late after work, then we can drive home together. Makes sense right?
Apparently not. Both he and my Mum argued with me about this last night. According to them, I’m incapable of catching a train alone, while 8 and three quarters pregnant. Apparently I’m stubborn.
Heh. Stubborn? Moi? No. I’m just independent and know my capabilities. And if anything goes awry, I’ll have my fully charged mobile with me, so I can call someone for help.

I am under strict instructions to not send you any emails that say anything remotely akin to something resembling “is the bebe here yet?” on the grounds that we got so fed up when Pumpkin was due that we started answering the phone by saying “no baby”

That would be sooooo appreciated Bill! I think I’m just a little early with the ‘hurry ups’ but hey, I’m kinda over it all now.
Have read that, Daniel, and keep thinking to ask my brother to get car seat into Tony’s car, but haven’t arranged that yet. Maybe I ought to just do it myself…

People can make such a fuss over pregnant women. Sometimes I find it fun and flattering, other times just plain annoying. Which ever mode of transportation you choose, just take extra care.
