Teatime
Wow. What a lovely day. This afternoon, a few people came over for an arvo tea. As always there was too much food, but hey, that’s the norm for us around here.
I have to say I had a lovely afternoon, as did Tony and I’d like to think everyone else did too. There were lots of conversations around and everyone seemed to mingle in amongst those they knew and those they didn’t know quite so well. I tried to get around and chat to everyone and like to think I got the chance to speak to all.
As usual, I did get into the kitchen and stay there for most of the time (don’t I always?) but hey, there were pots of tea and plungers of coffee to get brewing.
To all who came today: Mum, Rob, Enaksha, Jonathon, Marita, Daniel, Isaac, Jeremy, Rose, Mary, Kathy, Elizabeth, Bob, Eve, Bram, Veronica, Catherine, Leah, Carla, Carolyn and Sandy, we thank you all for gifts, and your presence. It was lovely to have you here.

Of course it is. I’m sorry Bill! I guess it’s cos I know you as “Billy-Joe Noodle Bob” and the “Bob” has stuck harder than the “Bill”.
One day I’ll get my brain back. One day…

I should have taken my desk diary home with me on Friday. For some stupid reason I thought it was next week. I’m sorry hon. Glad you had a good day though.

Sounds like a good day! At least you’ve got a good excuse for occasional vagueness!
