Drawers
Two more sets of bedside tables and bubs now has enough storage space for clothes, nappies and other such bits and pieces to wear. I cleaned them up and stacked them in the corner of our bedroom. I’ve since filled them with the essentials; wonder how long that’ll last. I mean, nappies - like I’m really going to be putting them away in the drawers every time. I’ll mean to, but I’ll not get around to it. Bubs will be peeing and popping faster than I can wash, fold and put them away, I reckon!
Have left the cradle in the corner of the bedroom, but won’t have it there when he/she arrives. It’ll be too cold for him/her to sleep by the window. Figure we’ll sort this all out once they’ve made their arrival and when we need to deal with it. Til then… eh, it’ll do.
Next I need my big strapping young man to plonk that big heavy bastard of a sewing machine onto the table so I can make the fitted sheets for the cradle out of one of our old white sheets. Once that’s done, I think the baby stuff is complete. At least for the moment. Then the arrival will happen and all hell will break loose!

you mean, you don’t know who will be visiting?
I would have thought you guys had a whateversound and checked for the baby’s gender long ago … :P

Oh yeah Ike. Had the ultrasound and foudn out the gender, but just in case, we’re keeping mum on telling anyone else. :) Sorry!
