Belly
Well it really ain’t protruding just yet. I’m only just 14 weeks on Wednesday, I did’t think I should be expecting it for a few more weeks.
However, having just had a lovely warm shower, then slipping into some nice underwear, I’ve discovered it really doesn’t fit like it used to.
My belly, though not protruding with child, no longer can be sucked in. I’m not a small person, but people have always been amazed by how flat my stomach is (or was). Anyway, it was flat, but ever since Phee there was always a little pot belly. Not really noticable all the time, but I knew it was there. If I stood up straight and pulled my shoulders back, the belly would completely disappear.
No longer is that possible.
I stood up straight, I pulled the shoulders back to an impossible angle. The little sucky in bit can no longer be sucked in. There’s no hollow behind it.
I guess this means baby belly is to begin to emerge sooner than I thought.

but, this is one of the truly wondrous things with pregnancy…that your body can adapt so well to accommodate another person.

so are you a wear the underwear under the baby belly or right across the baby belly girl? personally, i couldn’t stand to have anything even remotely tight across my belly (i had such major bloating too, so even the thought of pressure on my tummy made me feel ill) so i always wore everything under the baby belly.
