Pass or Fail?

So when you’re trying and you’ve tried (a lot) at the right time and that time was a little while ago now.

Would you, or did you, wait or test?

To test or not to test, that is the question.

As I have never actually taken a pregnancy test I have no idea. But I think that I would test because I’d be so excited I couldn’t help but test, but then if it was neg because I had tested too early that might be sad because it may not be neg, just too early to tell. My friend tested negative five times (one day after the other)before she got a positive, so there are problems with testing too early! The tests are also expensive aren’t they?

I’m sure this would have to be one of the most unhelpful and confusing comments ever made, but the point is I am of course hoping for a positive outcome!

    I vote for: Test.

Modern pee-on-a-sticks are sufficiently sensitive to pick up hcG (the human growth hormone produced in pregnancy) 7-10 days past ovulation - well before the next period is due. I got my +ve with my daughter two days before the next period was due and it was strong and unmistakeable.

Of course if you can bear to wait, do so … but I couldn’t myself!
