Frightening
I told you the other day that a friend of mine here is pregnant. I find out now that the powers that be have decided to shut down that department. I don’t know the exact details, but pretty much I can see that it means that she is now out of a job and not able to take maternity leave as she originally planned.
This is a little frightening for her. To have a steady job means security. To have it taken from you, especially now when she is pregnant, makes that security just that little bit more precarious.
Her hubby is a plumber, and is in steady work, but I still worry for her.
I guess this story just shows that no matter how well you plan your life, sometimes things happen and you need to amend that plan.

That happened to me while I was out on medical leave when pregnant with Spenser. They downsized the clinic and I was left without a job. It’s frightening…but in the long run, the better thing WILL come along.

Think this is the cheapest place to get Pirate Island. I’ve actually found they sell Pirate Island cheaper than anwhere else!
