Football and the baby

We decided long ago, that since Phee was a Bulldogs supporter, we would have the second child a Tiger supporter.

Looking at the ladder today, I’m beginning to wonder what sort of an idea this was. Hawthorn on the bottom of the ladder, Richmond above them and Bulldogs above them. Our two teams second and third last.

Pathetic.

We should allow this child to have a winning team. But not any of the other 14 teams in the competition, cos I won’t have one of my own children barrack for a team that I hate, dislike, think their colours are crap or think their theme song sucks.

So in that, I guess it’s stuck. Doomed to barrack for a pathetic team before it’s even born.
