If you live in Australia Veronica Mars is quite possibly the best show you will never get to see. We’ve just watched the premier episode of the second season and have no idea why this hasn’t been picked up here yet. I guess the 25 words or less “school girl detective solves crime in her spare time” description would send most people running but the last time a show with such rich characters, witty writing, complex (and daring) story lines and with a strong young female lead was screened it was largely ignored too. Which is a shame, ’cause Veronica Mars could end up being better than Buffy and I can pay a television show no higher compliment.
If you’re in Aus move heaven and earth to get a copy of season 1, there is no way you will be disappointed.

I’m still miffed that Dead Like Me hasn’t taken here. But there you go. If it’s not bloody Law & Order (Whateverversionithappenstobe), CSI, or Blue effing Heelers (*grr*), it’s not worth watching. Apparently.

VERONICA MARS IS THE BEST SHOW EVER. iT’S FUN, INTERESTING, WITTY, DARING AND OVERALL HIGH ENTERTAINMENT. WE KNOW HAVE IT IN AUSTRALIA, BUT IT SAYS IN OUR VERSION OF TV WEEK THAT NEXT EPISODE IS THE LAST. BOO HOO I HATE CHANNEL TEN

summer ratings. the only 2 shows to make it were supernatural (because 10 pushed it) and ghost whisper (because 7 didn’t have any other show rate that high). its a shame though. i don’t think 10 knows that everyones getting bored of the o.c, me and my friends are agree that marissa and ryan r boring! Veronica Mars is the best thing on Tv. I hope it wont turn out like Charmed – A show pushed around over a period of a year, then wrapped up at 11.30pm on an monday night.

CAME BACK FROM HOLIDAYS, SO WHAT HAPPEND TO VERONICA MARS, AT LEAST PUT IT ON FRIDAY AS YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE THATS GOOD AT THAT TIME (FRIDAY NIGHT GAMES) IS SOOOOOOOO BOORING ID RATHER WATCH A BLANK TELEVISION OR EVEN SWITCH TO CHANNEL 9. SORRY BUT IS THE TRUTH.
just checked v mars on google and we only got first 11 , still 11 2 go plus this new season.
at leastyou city folk got ch 9 too. we in broken hill have 7,2,10 & sbs so whensports on ch 7 becomes 9 and any of us non sporty types dont get diddly
I agree, Veronica Mars is the best show on in Australia at the moment. I consider it the second best show ever made after Buffy.
Its the best show ever oh my god i cant believe 10 play it at 1030 plus the AFL is now on insted i hope its back on soon or ill freek is it on DVD hear yet or will i have 2 grt it of amazon or Ebay cuz its better then the oc and it will get tons of rateings if it was on at a good time like they could pit it on insted of feutureramer and the wege at 8pm on tuesday ot on sunday at 630pm insted of mearkat mannor and its me or the dog or insted of a move because its way more entertaning.

I agree compleely… I have never been able to stomach OC and especially not Buffy (PUKE), but I was desparately and helplessly over-heels for Veronica Mars… Channell 10 has some hopeless shows playing currently, seriously, who watches Meercat Manor or Its me or the Dog???? WHO? And as for the Wedge and constant Simpson re-runs, oh come on seriously, I’m just a wee bit sick of it all…. well anyway, theres my 2 cents worth
